Chapters need to be folders

Chapters hold content, they are not content on their own. Also, neither epub nor word docs import properly

Hey there! First, if you're having issues with importing documents, please tell us about that in a bug report! Be detailed and send us the documents you're trying to import so that our devs can investigate the issue. www.campfirewriting.com/contact?typeOfRequest=report_a_bug

As for chapters, we are currently exploring a way to break them into scenes—which will effectively do most of what everyone here has been asking for without breaking down Campfire's whole structure of Module → Folder → Element. I'm hopeful that this can be developed in the next few months, if all goes well! We'll keep you informed through the blog's update posts.

It would also be helpful if chapters could be moved into other folders. For example a Part One folder. If you create a folder after writing the chapters, the only way to move it is by copying the content into another chapter under the new folder. It's tedious.

And within those Chapter folders would be the individual scenes that make up the chapter.

While we are on this topic, you should be able to change one element into another element.
