Intercalary days outside of the normal week

In my story, the Summer and Winter solstices are set on special days that appear outside of the normal days of the week. For example, my calendar looks like "Friday, July 20th - Summer Solstice - Saturday, July 21st". The calendar module does not currently allow you to add special days like this. The attached picture shows an example of what I mean.
